Some are dry and some wet so give it time to acclimate to your area before finishing. Work it, use it but no finish for a month.
Note shipping is $65 in the lower 48 states and extra if out of them.
I have been cutting and selling burl from the Eureka Calif. area for over 58 years now and still learn something new about the woods every few days.
