Some are dry and some wet so give it time to acclimate to your area before finishing. Work it, use it but no finish for a couple month.

Note shipping is not free or $1 as I need zip code for a quote. If shipping is to a business in a commercial area with a forklift or loading dock or
if you can pick it up at the local XPO terminal than you would save $125 for residential delivery.

I have been cutting and selling burl from the Eureka Calif. area for over 55 years
now and still learn something new about the woods every few days.
