I have thousands of live edge pieces for epoxy furniture, river tables, serving trays etc. I cut Maple, Myrtle and Redwood burl and curly woods. Dead for 100 years and may have been a live tree at the time of Christ. 

Cut 42x36x1.3''. Let this slab acclimate to your area for a month before finishing it.
