Some are dry and some wet so give it time to acclimate to your area before finishing. Work it, use it but no finish for a couple months.

Note shipping is $40 to the lower 48 states and out of them there is an extra charge. 

I have been cutting and selling burl from the Eureka Calif. area for over 58 years
now and still learn something new about the woods every few days.
