I have been cutting and selling live edge woods like Poplar, Redwood, Maple, Myrtle, Willow, and some Buckeye, Madrone, Oak, etc. from the Eureka Calif. area for around 60 years now, and I am still learning something new about our native woods every few days.  Be advised all wildwood has the potential to harbor insects, they are treated if seen on the wood, none were found on this piece.
