Work it, use it, but don't finish until it's dry.  I have 10 other slabs from this burl. This sale is for one unfinished slab, cleaned up and rough-sanded. This slab may have been part of a live tree at the time of Christ.

I have over 1,000 quilted, curly, burl, and figured grain pieces; mostly Redwood, Myrtle, Maple, and Poplar. As I am on the coast, most pieces are not dry. Of course, the best pieces always sell first wet or dry. I have been cutting and selling live-edge woods, Poplar, Redwood, Maple, Walnut, Myrtle, Willow, and some Buckeye, Madrone, Oak, from the Eureka, California area for around 60 years now, and still learning something new about our native woods every few days.
